Designed and built in the UK

Every building from Green Retreats is designed and built by us at our UK production facility. Our new Basebox design uses the latest in value-engineered materials to create a quality garden room building that's eco-friendly, fully-insulated and cost-effective!

Installed within 1–5 days

We construct the panels of your Basebox in our Buckinghamshire factory and then assemble the panels at your site. This efficient process means we have minimal intrusion on your home and lifestyle whilst we're on site, and we can install the building within 1-5 days.

Dedicated customer care rep

Throughout your project you will be assigned a dedicated customer care representative, someone who will help organise and co-ordinate your garden room build. Your customer care presentative will be your one point of contact, making the process seamless and hassle-free.

Designed for year-round use

The Basebox range from Green Retreats uses value-engineered materials to create a dry and comfortable internal environment that helps stay warm in winter, and cool in summer. Every building as standard comes from premium quality uPVC doors and windows, with double-glazing throughout for optimal thermal efficiency.

Every garden room from Green Retreats comes with an extensive 10-year guarantee. Since 2005, we've been constructing our superior quality garden room buildings for our customers, so we're tried and tested when it comes to our service, quality and longevity.

Planning permission rarely required

All of our buildings are designed to fall within permitted development, meaning you can generally have your Basebox garden room installed without the need for planning permission. If you should need planning permission, we can take care of the process for you - saving you time and hassle.

Low-maintenance

Basebox buildings require a coat of oil-based sealing paint to the exterior cladding, which provides a great opportunity for you to make your building unique to you! We also offer a range of paint colours that we can supply your building in when we install, taking the hassle away. Otherwise, these buildings require no further maintenance.

Fits close to any solid obstacle

Our buildings can be installed as close as 400mm to any solid obstacle, meaning your building can fit close to your fence, home or any other structure. This is particularly helpful for smaller gardens where space is a premium.
